Founded in September 2015, the Illini Journal of International Security (IJOIS) is a student-run and peer reviewed academic journal supported by ACDIS. Submissions offering cross-disciplinary takes on security issues are encouraged, and students from all University of Illinois campuses are welcome to contribute.

Contributions

IJOIS publishes 4-7 submissions bi-annually, and maintains a blog that is updated year-round. For information on guidelines and deadlines reference IJOIS Submissions.

Leadership

Leadership positions for IJOIS become available at the beginning of each fall and spring semester. Positions include:

  • Editor-in-Chief
  • Senior Editor
  • Editor
  • Director of External Relations
  • Web Developer
  • Outreach Liaisons (for other U of I campuses)

IJOIS is an independent, student-run organization affiliated with ACDIS through its constitution. ACDIS staff coordinate and collaborate with these two groups to ensure success in their endeavors.
